Alex Erling is an audio engineer, music producer, and DJ whose work bridges the technical precision of studio craft with the energy of the live music world. After spending six transformative years in New York City, Alex established himself by engineering for artists across genres, producing original music, and performing at venues throughout the city’s underground and mainstream scenes.

During his time in NYC, he also built Frequency Zoo, an event and production company focused on creating immersive, high-quality music experiences. What began as small DIY parties quickly evolved into full-scale events featuring curated lineups, custom sound design, and a loyal community of dancers, artists, and collaborators.

Now based in the Sierras, Alex continues to push his craft forward. As erlsworld, he produces electronic music, engineers records for clients, and creates educational content that demystifies music production and DJing for the next generation. Whether he’s designing sonic environments for events, mixing tracks in the studio, or building new creative tools for artists, Alex brings a technical mindset, a deep musical intuition, and a passion for elevating every project he touches.
